New shotgun rails 1/4

how did you attach the legs? I built a rail similar to this and the first person that hit it broke the legs, just knocked it over. all i had was two 4" screws in each leg from the bottom. Did you find a solution to this?

i would put some diagonal supports on both sides or ELSE.....
