vertical patellular dislocation. never thought of that. i did mine out to the side. 2 surgeries since. word of advice, salvage your cartilage

that blows. i dislocated mine to the side and did some cartilage damage. scheduled ortho surgery for after football. then on our last game i dislocated it upwards, completely tearing my mpfl from the kneecap and knee. needless to say the surgery was now going to be a bit more extensive.

get ready for your knee to be sore all the time.
