That frame looks pretty heavy. I know it's a full on 8" travel bike so don't expect it to be light, but that frame looks abnormally heavy. How do you like the floating brake? I've never rode a bike with one, but my friend who is REALLY good said they're are a waste of money and weight.
Frame is fairly heavy (11 lbs with floater), but is still a bit lighter than a lot of other DH frames (Cove Shocker, Giant Glory, older Spec Demo etc.) I really like the floater. I used to ride a Kona Stinky, without a floater and the brake jack was terrible. From what I can tell, my F5 has no jack whatsoever.
