Seriously, bummer.We just bought them this past season.This was his first year skiing the terrain park, and the length is what the guy at REI's ski shop recommended.Probably better to learn on though Don't you think? We'll see what they say at Windells and maybe I'll have to buy a new pair next year then.
REI, isn't a freestly ski shop. You need a shop with someone who actually rides, or knows something about freestyle skis to give you advice.
Get him some longer skis, and if he wants to be spinning and balancing on rails better, get them center mounted, make sure they measure it properly cus the markings on the ski's aren't always marked center.
