thanks.

btw im new to editing so any advice is much apreciated. im also going to probably make a handle for my cam so i can get some steadier follow cams...

it is always going to take a long time to load if its in quicktime and yea i just made a handle and it makes a big difference
 
attitash is the place in NH right? iv been up there a few its pretty good.

camera was a cannon HV20, and it had a polarizing filter on it.

here is my workflow (im on a mac):

1. capture in imovie or FCE

2. edit in FCE or FCP (whatever you have)

3. export as a full res. quicktime H.264 video

4. compress in mpeg streamclip as:

-quicktime movie in H.264 (reduces size, but i donno why since it was already in that format)

-100% quality

-1000 x 562 pixels

-limit the data output rate so it would be under 50 mb (for NS

-de interlace

and yea, attitash is in NH. its sick this year
