thats kodak 125PX film, its a really crappy base scan from the developer just for previews, otherwise it should be really low grain. im gonna keep my eye out on ebay and camera stores for a film scanner... anyone ever use one?
to be honest: i really don't like the composition.mainly cause of two things: the center position of the guy and that ½ water and ½ sky composition. you should use the rule of thirds and put the guy closer to some corner( and of course the corner depends on how you compose the other things). but the contrast is nice and so is the texture of the water
actually i ment one third of sky and two thirds of water..thatway you'd got more of that nice water texture on the pic. and c'mon man, everybody cares.you posted this to art forum so i think atleast everyone whos bit into photographying cares how it looks and pleases their eye.i just brought up my opinnion.you gotta take the critic man
i meant who cares cause i wasnt looking thru the viewfinder when i shot it. wasnt saying who cares to the crits, the quirks are what i like about anyway though. i think had i thought about framing him top i would have got the dock edge in the bottom.
