was this on your 35mm cam? If so, you should look into a telephoto lens, I like the shot though, it's original, instead of isolating the bird and focusing on that, you show the whole scene, very original, nice shot.
it's from my digital, which doesn't have any sort of manual focus, and this is as close as I could get (soomed in and in bare feet on snow) before the bird flew away.
