What a surreal event! From a spectators perspective, I was surprised that there was a huge turnout for an event like this. Didn't matter if you were a die-hard freeskier or someone from the city that didn't know what this sport was about, everyone was there to see a great event that was put on. From cheering on skiers as they landed big tricks to screaming the lyrics to "Sweet Caroline" in the stands before the third run, everyone was braving the cold to have a good time with family and friends. I hope this happens again in the near future and not die out like the Denver big air and the Icer Air in San Francisco did.
