after cuttin up all the pieces we just drilled holes into each block in a zig zag pattern, and alternated where we started the zig zag for each block. so first block we started top right corner drilling a hole then second block was bottom right corner...so then after u drill u can just put in some screws into the holes and the screws wont go into each other.<br>

and yeah it holds pretty well. the ones 3 blocks off the ground are really really sturdy, but the last one in the pic is a little sketch. i mean it holds up well, but i wouldnt go more than 6 blocks of wood off the ground.
