again, what did my camera do?

yeah, it is an over exposure. you can see the skier is blurred behind all of those crazy lights

not over exposure man..its an extended exposure. over exposure is when the f stop isn't adjusted correctly and either to much or to little light is let in

put the camrea on a tripod next time... it will look sick

An extended exposure can result in an over-exposure..

But yeah, your shutter was definitely left open way too long.. was it really dark out or something? Maybe your camera was on aperture priority or something..

alright, i was messing with his camera. I turned the dial on the top and then hit the button and it made a wierd noise and a light turned on and then i hit the button again and thats what happened. It resulted in a sweet picture... and i dont know where those lights came from because it was really dark out
