Hate to say it, but it was more like 50. We bridge jump all the time where I live in FL. You definitely get credit for the jump though. If you ever get to Ft. Myers Beach, swing by Mantanzas Pass Bridge or Newpass Bridge for a jumping session. 76ft and 54ft respectively, we'll have a blast.
well the angle really doesn't give it credit but we dropped a 75 ft. ski rope down and it didn't hit the water but it was roughly 5ft. away so i may be a little off maybe it was on 78ft plunge
yeah, doesn't really look 80, but meh! here's what we do in the summer....it's up near desolation sound on the west coast of BC. we tie a LONG line on the top of a cliff, that's like 60 feet or so, then tie the other end to a dinghy (a FAST dinghy). we tie a tow handle somewhere in the middle, but closer to the cliff, hold on, and have someone haul ass out in the dinghy. you get slingshotted like 60 feet straight up! it's sooo nice, and no hiking or nothing!
